CAMP TUHELJSKE SPA, 13.-15.11.2015.,
"Quality education association- put u nove izazove“,
within the three-year program of the Ministry of Social Policy and Youth.

The camp was attended by a total of 155 participants, iz 23 Association members from all over Croatian. The participants were the presidents and secretaries of associations, leaders support stays, independent living and clubs, parents and people with intellectual disabilities, and guest lecturers and heads of different workshops.
Camp program included a presentation of member associations, lectures, Education, Creative psychological workshops, self-advocacy workshops, Okrugli stol, visit the Krapina Neanderthal Museum and musical entertainment for all participants.

Presidents and secretaries of associations, Ms. Anica Matthew from the Ministry of Social Policy and Youth held a lecture "CONDITIONS for obtaining consent for provision of social services", which was already 82 participants. Ms. Anica Matthew presented at the beginning of the lecture briefly the new Ordinance on the minimum requirements for the provision of social services. Subsequently, organizations are asked questions related to the exercise of the right to the provision of social services. In the end, the president Mirjana Jakovčev concluded that our organization competitive in the provision of services and to provide services that are lacking in the local community, and Mrs. Matthew pointed out that associations of people with intellectual disabilities among the first to provide services that the state should.
After that followed a talk guests from abroad, Ms. Medina Tanjić Vantić on "social services in BiH", where were present 74 persons. He briefly presented the structure of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the lecturer explained that in their country in each entity has a different law, and social protection and assistance is divided into 13 independent systems. Due to the large number of regulations in Bosnia and Herzegovina is very little official data on people with intellectual disabilities.
One of the key activities of the camp was to educate on the quality of provision of social services, held by Mark Perko, a pripremio Ozren Catela, from the Association of persons with intellectual disabilities of Istria in Pula. First, Mr. Perko presented the European project "empowering civil society organizations to more qualitative SOCIAL SERVICES", a part of which was published in the Handbook for NGOs providing social services. Within education QUALITY OF SOCIAL SERVICES, Mark Perko presented the Handbook on the provision of social services. Within the lectures were held exercises in the two groups to which the association from Karlovac and Rijeka presented examples of standard access to information from their associations and each group made a self-assessment standards service availability. The theme of social services provision included and Tomislav Velic from associations of persons with disabilities Ladybird Vinkovci, who is in his lecture "The Role of Civil Society in providing social services" (present 61 person) briefly explain how to define civil society and which are prerequisites for the development and functioning of civil society. It was concluded that the provision of quality, innovative and sustainable social services of very great importance. New models of social policy, in particular the use of Welfare Mix, are a good prerequisite for success. There was also a round table "QUALITY OF SOCIAL SERVICES - A CHALLENGE OR SUPPORT difficult in tasks", that led the president of the Alliance Jakovčev Mirjana and Marko Perko, and was present in total 61 participant. Mark Perko said the desire to establish the Alliance team to assist organizations when it comes to documentation and procedure of realization of social services. He pointed out that the quality standards are not related to quality of service rather than on the quality of documentation. President Mirjana Jakovčev emphasized that we need each other to support. It was concluded that organizations interested in further education for the provision of social services and will be a part of the Alliance to form a working group that will work on quality standards and which would be invited all interested associations.

For people with intellectual disabilities, there were three workshops, tailored to their abilities and needs. The first two workshops were related to self, and covered topics "ANY FORM OF CARE WANT" and "activities that I want to do". Workshops were led by Jelena Miodrag, it is not present 18 person. This was followed by a workshop, "I know what I want," conducted by Andrea Gaspar, Lorena Koštić, Patricija Karaman, it is not present 18 participants. Workshops followed for the exchange of experience, creative work, express opinions and desires through conversation and drawings and poster making. People with intellectual disabilities have talked with the head of the independent living and leisure time, and it was concluded that the majority of people living with parents, and only one person alone with their peers and that they want to swim, play football and ride a bike, hang out with friends in the association, and several people said they want to establish your family and live independently.

For parents organized psychological workshops "COEXISTENCE IN THE FAMILY- To delegate ", led by the Union psychologist Srdjan Simac, and there were a total of 18 participants. The workshop included exercises, group work and discussions of parents who were actively involved in the workshop. It was concluded that the families still dominate the traditional distribution of work roles and household tasks, But there is a positive trend that is increasingly present in the form of equal representation of all members of the family in their daily activities and tasks, depending on the individual characteristics and capabilities of each person. It also discussed how to include people with intellectual disabilities in everyday household tasks and possibilities of their motivation for participation. Through this workshop parents get support, strengthen the family to deal with the challenges and problems and acquire knowledge and skills for use in everyday life.

For leaders support stays, independent living and clubs held two creative workshops- "MAKING A bouquet of artificial flowers", led by Mrs. Jelena Mandic (present 15 person) and workshop "making bouquets of leaves" that led two leaders Ana Dragovic and Vesna Simic from the Association for Persons with Mental Retardation in Slavonski Brod,hr (present 19 person). The workshop demonstrated new skills for making bouquets of artificial flowers and leaves. Participants will be able to apply learned skills in their organizations and thus will expand and enhance their creative work in associations.

In addition to the scientific part of the program in the camp in Tuhelj spa, participants had the opportunity to participate in various cultural and entertainment program. Organized a visit to the Museum of Krapina Neanderthals, and persons with disabilities have the opportunity to enjoy the performance of a clown who had made them laugh their interactive approach. For all members of the Association was organized and performance of musical composition, who entertained the guests with song and dance until the late hours. The whole experience was a complete camp-together, interviews, sharing experiences of parents and associations, and people with disabilities have gained experience and new friends.
