Projekt Comprehensive Care to the Families with Dependent Member – Community4family is financed under IPA IV – Human Resource Development. The project is 195.109,36 EUR, and co-financing by the European Union is 168.945,20 EUR, ie. 86,29 %.

The project is carried out in the area: Brod-Posavina, Primorje-Gorski Kotar, Sibenik-Knin,Dubrovnik-Neretva,Virovitica-Podravina,Koprivnica-Križevci,Bjelovar-Bilogora and Osijek-Baranja County.

The project aims to contribute to strengthening social inclusion and prevent institutionalization of vulnerable social groups through the improvement of existing community based social services for adults with intellectual disabilities and their families. The project contributes to the strengthening of economic activity family, improving support and reconciliation of family and work roles. Working parents will be able to keep existing jobs, and five parents from each partner associations will strengthen their competencies for employment purposes. The duration of the project will be employed in full five parents in half-day stay by working with customers in innovative workshops with wood , the weaving of carpets and in a creative workshop. During the project we will organize two camps. One camp will be organized for people with intellectual disabilities in which a person through Gestaldt MovementTherapySystems, color and recreational activities to strengthen inclusion into the local zajednice.U second camp parents for the first time to be separated from their dependent family member, will participate in various workshops for relief from stress and educational workshops on coexistence with their dependents. The project includes ten member associations Croatian Alliance whose presidents, Secretaries, leaders of clubs to be involved in education for empowerment work of NGOs and to work in innovative workshops. During the project will be conducted workshops to strengthen the parental role, workshops on sexuality and empowering people with intellectual disabilities.
