On the occasion of the World Day of Autism awareness,,hr,April 2018, the Union of Autism Association of Croatia has presented in animated video material in China Europe the accompanying educational program,,hr,Three steps,,hr,introduced a manual and guidance for parents after autism diagnosis and a short educational program on autism,,hr,After the presentation of educational materials,,hr,at Milan's Flower Square Milan Bandic symbolically released a hundred blue balloons in the air,,hr,in the company of representatives of the alliance,,hr,parents and autistic children,,hr, 2. April 2018., Savez udruga za autizam Hrvatske prikazao je u Kinu Europa animirani video materijal koji prati edukativni program “Tri koraka”, predstavio priručnik i vodič za roditelje nakon dijagnoze autizma i kratki edukativni program o autizmu. Nakon prikazivanja edukativnih materijala, na Cvjetnom trgu gradonačelnik Grada Zagreba Milan Bandić simbolično je pustio stotinjak plavih balona u zrak, u društvu predstavnika saveza, Associations, roditelja i djece s autizmom.

Ovogodišnja manifestacija je organizirana pod motom “Rušimo zajedno barijere autizma – izgradimo pristupačno društvo”, a cilj joj je osvještavanje i senzibiliziranje javnosti na probleme djece i odraslih s dijagnozom poremećaja iz spektra autizma.

Lidija Penko, predsjednica Saveza udruga za autizam Hrvatske u Guide to Parents and Carers,,hr,emphasizes the need to pay more attention to families with people with autism spectrum disorders as early as possible,,hr,and with the help of manual family members will receive the necessary knowledge and skills to support their children and young people,,hr,Zagreb joined the other world metropolises that they marked,,hr,World-wide awareness of autism,,hr,The event was attended by the representative of the Association Božena Kuk,,bs,Marking the World of Autism awareness in the City of Zagreb,,hr naglašava potrebu pridavanja više pažnje podršci obiteljima osoba s poremećajem iz spektra autizma u što ranijoj fazi, a uz pomoć priručnika članovi obitelji će dobiti potrebno znanje i vještine za pružanje podrške svojoj djeci i mladim ljudima.

Zagreb se tako pridružio drugim svjetskim metropolama koje su obilježile 11. Svjetski dan svjesnost o autizmu.
