The Klubu

 

The club is a form of the association of persons, and help people with intellectual disabilities in each county, city ​​or municipality. The club also disposed persons with intellectual disabilities who are in families. The club only form of care for the person and not an independent legal entity. Association members Croatian Association of people with intellectual disabilities as a national association, while these people only members of a certain club.

O KLUBUThe club is a voluntary form of gatherings of people with intellectual disabilities with similar interests.

Taking into account the specificities of the needs of persons with intellectual disabilities, past practice has shown that the activities of the club irreplaceable in izvaninstitucijalnoj support those persons, especially at the local level, Where this is usually the only way of engaging this population in community life.

Clubs contribute considerably to the:

  • Improving the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities

Applications (type of workshop) to:

1) The development of social skills that contribute the most independent functioning in family and social environment (eg. preparing simple meals, fight the sebi ...)

2) Working-occupation activities

3) Creative and recreational activities ( friendship, Dance, drawing, modeling, party games ...)

4) Support the inclusion of the cultural and recreational activities offered by the local community ( kinase, Theatre, exhibitions, Excursions, bowling, riding – hippotherapy,...)

5) Kinesitherapy or hypotherapy

6) Self-representation ( in the context of a group of samozastupanje).

Terms

1. Space

In accordance with the expected number of users ( own, leased, u use):
– greater room for common activities
– kitchenette,
– toilet,
– laka availability.

2. Equipment – depending on the planned activities:

- basic equipment: tables, chairs, TV, video, overhead projector, basic kitchen utensils, stove, refrigerator,...)
– supplies: didaktički i socijalizacijski

Leader – people with preferences for work in a club ( expert, depending on the number of hours provided for the activity of the club), or persons – workshop leader (in the scheduled activities of the club).

4. Working time:

– at least 3 – 4 hours per week
– most 20 hours a week
