Days 14. i 15. December 2015. the Croatian Association of People with Intellectual Disabilities held such workshops within the project "Expansion of services psychological and legal support and improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families through information education", funded by the City of Zagreb.
The workshops were designed for people with intellectual disabilities and their parents / guardians. The aim of the workshops was to gain basic computer knowledge and IT skills, kroz individualizirani pristup.
Participants had the opportunity to learn practical computer skills, such as the basics of search and security on the Internet, Writing in MS Word, and for people with intellectual disabilities is designed customized training program through interactive games, drawing, korištenje cd-a, Virtual tour cities, etc..
All participants said they were very satisfied, and people with intellectual disabilities, they felt very happy at workshops. On the basis of the evaluation questionnaire, as the most interesting activities listed virtual tours in Google maps, Image Search and writing exercises in MS Word.
Great credit to the information officer Marian Jurešić who made a spectacular in the role of leader of this innovative way of education, with particular emphasis on interactive activities and individualized approach.
